Hi guys! I'm happy to see that there's something left over Dune 2. I know that it's an old game. I've tried arrakis once but it didn't work out so well. I'll get to the point: I was thinking of making out a remake of Dune2 for Windows. I'll keep the graphics (maybe I'll increase the details & resolution) and I'll keep the movies, interface and appearance of the menus. I'll make a comfy unit control interface (similar to War2) and if I'm lucky, I'll try adding a multiplayer. Everything will be Open source so the code will be available. I plan using Visual C++ for the Dune -2 application and Visual Basic for all service programs. I plan on using DirectX. I have sufficient expirience and knowledge for this project.
