  1. Have you tried the compatiblity mode? Right click on the exe-s and click on the compatibility tab. Also I'd try disabling the anti virus software you're using.
  2. Hey. I'm running Dune using D-Tools, and I have the following problem. When I started playing as Atreides, it didn't play the House movies at all. So I change the setting in resource.cfg from G:movies (that's my virtual drive) to G:. As I played on it played the movies, so I thought I solved it. But after a few - the first 5 - movie, it stopped playing them. Moreover I can't re play any of the house movies I could view before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Note: The movies folder on the virtual drive didn't even exisit nor does it exisit on any of the CDs.)
  3. Everything's fine now, it's even playing the movies, I had to modify resource.cfg though. Thanks for the replies.
  4. Damn. Now it wouldn't play the movies. :(
  5. I installed it from virtual disks. I've found out what the problem was though. The CD had to be named EMPEROR1, EMPEROR2, EMPERORX..
  6. Hi all! I have an issue with the installation aswell. I have the images of the CDs, which are mounted onto a virtual drive. It's worked with many games before, but not with this one. If I run the Autorun.exe, and the install disc is mounted, it says: Please Insert Disc 1. Running setup.exe isn't better either. Before the westwood patch it asked me to replace the disk and insert the original one. Now it only tells me to insert disc 1. I've tried a lots of things, but I was wondering if you guys could help me out? Oh yes I'm using windows XP and dameon tools.
