That are my thoughts too, I was pretty sure this one is not an original version. I have contact with the one who has this one for sale and he was pretty sure it's original. All his other stuff for sale are originals so its no set-up I believe.

Saw this Dune II cd version on a eBay like site: http://link.marktplaats.nl/266960458 I doubting if this is a legal version because in the left down corner it sates "Artwork by ..."

Does someone know if it came sealed in plastic originaly?

Ok... also tested the lastest version of dosbox and it works ok. Haven't seen problems yet. Glad I also have real old system. OPL2 and 3 sounds so much better on a real system :) Gravis is a close one though.

sven what version do you use? I can remember when trying the cd version it was a real pain with version 0.60. Haven't tried it with the latest dosbox version. The floppy version works fine with emu opl3 and my real MT32 :D I'll give it a try asap.

I can buy the original for 7,50 euro... tempting isn't it?

I've found them somewhere on the net but i cant remember were. Must have them on my harddisk also :) Sound quality is better compared to the ingames music if i'm not mistaken. {edit: found them. it was here ;D http://dune2k.com/Duniverse/Games/Emperor/Downloads/Audio }

Well, did some recordings on the sb pro but no differences. Still mono. Zoomed in on the wave signals on both channels just to be sure. Finalizing the recordings from the soundblaster now.

Stefan, The old system seems to work fine now (Finaly) I've got some options now : Soundblaster 2.0 card (mono) or/and Soundblaster Pro card (stereo). Choices choices :)
