But if you send 100-150 Troopers not even inf. could survive. Just send in a Quad/M Tank/Other non-Inf unit with or behind them when blowing up buildings or the shrapnel will kill them. same goes with Fremen. But if you hot key more than 50 at a time only half will go. Making a big group of Troopers/Light Infantry. in a 3/2 ratio would be great. if in multi, ask your ally to make 100+ Troopers while you make 75-100 Light Inf.

Just tried to play online, Worked! I've been trying for a while now just register with EA and/or WOL going through your internet browser, not through Dune2k. Going to dune and pressing no when it says "Dune has dected no usernames do you want to register with Westwood?" or something like that, Typing in your Username/Password Storing your login if you want and pressing connect. It will say Connecting with WOL (this could take a while if you are using 56k) you should be able to see your username in one corner, as what to do when you get there I don't know if anyone knows please e-mail me at mediaptera@sbcglobal.net online help doesn't work

How about something like Shogun: Total War? RTS and Turn based Strategy put togeather. and does anyone know the abrev. for Turn Based Strategy?

If the computers are in the same room you could use an ethernet cable (the big phone wires(<...> or three boxes arranged in a triangle)) or just a phone wire but I think that needs a modem :-?

When I click Multiplayer and Internet Dune2k says: "Dune has decteted no usernames do you want to register with Westwood?" When I say yes it quits and gives me a series of fields wanting my name etc.. When I finish it tries to contact WOL, fails and wants me to retry with the same resoults. I registered with EA and Westwood but not Dune2k, I don't know how to do that. When I click no and type in my Westwood name it gets to the Multiplayer window and displays a message window saying: "Connecting to Westwood Online" and then "Connection failed: Invalid username/password" what should I do? I havn't finished all the campaigns --Harkonneptera
