Dr. Behl is the Imperial Ecologist and expert on the lifecycle of the worms of Arrakis. He operates a giant ranch that doubles as a base of operation for his research and a holding pen to study captured worms. The information the doctor has collected is invaluable. Now, that research is in jeopardy. The enemy has wiped out the local garrison assigned to protect the doctor. Your mission is to regain control of the worm ranch and save Dr. Behl.

Long ago, House Atreides, House Harkonnen, and House Ordos claimed for themselves a small, spice rich area about 175 miles south of Sietch Tabr called Wildfire Slopes. Fieriest battles were fought for this part of Arrakis, but no side could destroy their opponents. Eventually the Landsraad High Council called a truce and it was agreed that the three great houses would mine the spice together. Peace reigned and eventually, over time, the spice was mined out of the region. Thereafter, the site was abandoned to the desert. Now, spice has returned to the Slopes. The enemy has landed troops and is in the process of establishing a base at the abandoned sites. Your mission is to do what could not be done before, push the enemy out of this region.

They have promised a percentage in the rich industrial profits if we help them take Giedi Prime. We have accepted their offer. You have been assigned to secure the Saratov Slave Pit mines between Harko City and Mount Ebony. Once this region is in our hands, we will establish a landing field and begin pouring in men and material to the rebels. From there, you will build a base with your allies and coordinate attacks against the enemy. Together you will win, but divided you will fall. They have ordered that we send a battalion to protect this sector of Arrakis. We are about 10 thumpers south of the capital of Arrakeen in the middle of the open desert, far away from any assistance or civilization. The quality of spice is high here and the greedy Spacing Guild wants it all for themselves. Since we don't want to lose our shipping privileges with the Guild, your orders are to distroy anyone who is mining spice here. Good luck. Not recommended for Single skirmish Battles. Here is the concept of the map. Each player starts in the center of the map around the three center rocks. Once teams are choosen by the players, each MCV drives to either the west or east rock where the team bases can be built. The council has exposed a plot by two great houses to distroy the Imperial Capital of Kaitain in a act of revenge for loosing their Battle for Dune. The other houses plan to assemble there warheads here on Arrakis, travel to Kaitain, and then use atomics to rain down death and reduce to ashes the surface of the planet. We plan to stop them here by sending your battalion to the open wastelands of The Great Flat for a twilight assault. What happened to Salusa Secundus must not happen to Kaitain commander! Go and distroy the enemy and save the Imperial Capital.

It seems that one of their ships was hijacked a few days ago and taken to The Great Flat desert region on Arrakis. The hijackers are in the process of dismantling the ship with the purpose of learning the secret of folding space and finding where is the Guild homeworld, Tupile, is located. The Guild trusts our house enough to give us the mission to secure this territory of Arrakis and destroy the hijackers. This is a very important operation command, so failure is not an option.

A few days ago, the enemy landed a force here on Draconis IV. There ultimate goal was to control a starport around the Snake River province. We manage to save the starport; however, the enemy has retreated to the Snake River and is making a last stand their. No commander on Draconis seems to be able to wipe out the enemy stronghold. With your record of victories on Arrakis, we believe that you can destroy the entrenched army. Your mission is simple. Eliminate the invading army! Once the enemy army is destroyed, you can return your Arrakis post. Good hunting commander.

A few days ago, our forces started a base in this sector of Arrakis. Red Wind Pass is located near the worm line just north of the False Wall-E. Unfortunately, the base was destroyed with the cargo ship. Our satellites show that the cargo ship is still burning on the desert of Arrakis even now. Your mission is to start another base here and rid the enemy from this area. Try to located as many supplies from the crashed cargo ship as you can before the enemy does. The supplies will help you produce more money fast. Good luck, commander.

Our scouts have found evidence of an underground facility at Glossu Rabban's abandoned northern hunting preserve. The former governor had two of these hunting preserve on Arrakis and this is the first. He built the preserve within the northern worm line, so their will no spice mining on this mission. The northern preserve was never completed, but we believe the underground facility was completed for an unknown purpose. Your mission is to secure this area before the enemy takes control. Destroy any building within one of the eight slave camp to make room for you base. Once the preserve is in our hands, we can explore the underground base. Good luck commander.

Technology from House Atreides,Harkonnen,Ordos,and all the minor houses have been spotted at this base. We feel that the Smugglers are going to use technology from all the major and minor houses in hopes to seize control of Arrakis. The Smugglers could not be doing this alone, so there must be one or more house behind this plot, perhaps the emperor himself. Destroy the base and anyone who is helping the Smugglers. If need be, take control of any building on the base with an Engineer. Once the enemy has been destroyed, victory will be ours.

The emperor requests that we deal with an illegal stockpile of Spice on Dune. The Spice hoard resides on a remote, unpopulated part of the False Wall West called the Fires of Orion. Since our house holds the fief for Arrakis and the imperial Sardaukar are spread thin all over the empire, the responsibility fall on us to secure the Spice for the emperor. One last thing, spies in the imperial court have informed their house of the illegal spice. We believe that some of the houses intent to steal it so expect a fears battle for control of this region. When our forces reach the battle site, the raiders would vanish into the open desert of The Funeral Plain. In order to stop these raids, your battalion will protect the small towns on the rocky slopes of Mt. Idaho, where we believe the raiders will strike next. When the raiders approach the settlements, wipe them out.

What is strategically important about this region, Astheria, is the fact that it holds one of the largest oil reserves on the remote ice world. Also, within Astheria lies a spaceport that is the only way to get off the planet within a fifty mile radius. Try to secure this spaceport first! Plus, there is a town, named Arra, which has on defenses as far as we know. Even though the local inhabitants are harmless, the enemy is aware of your presents so be alert. This week while exploring the deserts of Arrakis, Spotter 02 on Carryall 017 found a spice patch worth millions of Solaris. The dune men believe that this huge, untouched spice patch to be the biggest strike they have seen in years in the open desert. The newly discovered spice lies within The Great Flats region in an area the Fremen call The Tears of Shai-Hulud. The name comes from the strange, tear like rock formations north and south of your base camp. It is believed by the indigenous peoples of Arrakis that Shai-Hulud formed the tears as a symbol for the suffering and hardships that the Freman have endured over the millennia. They consider the rocks a Karama, a miracle. However the rocks were formed, your main mission is to protect the region for spice mining. It is certain that the enemy knows of this find, so be on the watch for them. Engineers have prepared your base camp and set up a bridge system to for you to get around easier. Good luck commander and remember, the spice must flow.

Our forces have detected that the enemy is building a base in a remote area of the Southern Continent named Lake Valley. When completed, enemy will use their base to launch an attack on the nearby spaceport, Atreides Landing. If they control this spaceport, the enemy will bring in off world reinforcement to launch a even larger invasion of the Southern Continent. Stop the invasion before it starts by destroying their base. We are all counting on you commander, so success in you mission.
