Don't overinterpret the Nazi Symbolism. Just as TMA said, Hitler and his "minister for youth and propaganda" Baldur von Schirach adopted many aspects from various religions/cults/whatever. The mere aim was to show the germans that they're a mighty race of humans. (e.g. The SS runes for thunder, the raw force of nature.) They tried to give them a new identity. Most of all this had never even a real thought-out purpose.

To Caid: Isn't the Thule Organization mentioned in every bigger conspiracy-theory ?
