Another Emperor WinXP problem...

I'm typing this on behalf of a friend who can't post here:

if somone has seen a solution to a problem similar to this then please tell me...

so i start up emp and it simply crashes. anybody know whats wrong?

i use xp, have recenly installed the 'fix' (did f*** all(thankyou ea)) and i dont have any firewalls.....
