The optics of Dune can be able to be seen. The level are tendencyful in scene set, perhaps a little small. By sections the play works a little detail-poor, but then one finds also again and again complex structures, which raise the overall view again. Quite positively the figures were noticeable to me. Particularly the faces are very in detail modelled and work even with close-ups hardly sharp-edged. Also the remainder of the figures is up-to-date. A little to require the textures, which work partly blurred, leave remaining.

The wound point of Dune are surely the animations. The figures have a Mimik, which actually rare one sees, however work it not even humanly. With the remaining movements one can be divided opinion. Going and running work rather woodenly and monotonous, while fighting (particularly with the meter) is set, or other internal messages very imposant in scene.

The sounds in the play did not succeed to my opinion even. It works for example quite mismatching, if one runs over sand and it sounds itself, as if one with pumps over parquet would run.

The voices are there already better. It even occurs that persons converse spontaneously together, if they run themselves somewhere over the way. The voices are selected also good and work professionally taken up, but now and then sound problems emerge, as language paragraph, which overlay, or with which the end is missing. Often one sees people the mouth moving also and gestikulieren wildly, but not one tone comes over its lips.

Atmosphere

Here Dune can play trumps, if also not excessive. As already said contribute the stimmigen level to the atmosphere. In addition, the music does its remaining. Partly it reminds of the star Wars sound TRACK and obtains the impression of silence, which prevails on Dune apart from whistling the wind. If one is familiar with background history, one feels actually transferred to the desert planet.

In the final result franc has Herberts Dune of some at potential, which is not exhausted unfortunately. Some unpleasant little things prevent that the play could please also different, as Dune fan.  

Result: Nice play for Dune fan, otherwise rather on the average!
