A friend sent me a file titled "Rules.txt" that appears to be similar to a .ini (configuration setting) in that it has all kinds of changeable values. Do any of you know where it shold be put, and how it works? Any info would be nice. (Also see my other 2 threads in the regular section.) Thanks.

If its a emperor rules.txt ini file it should be in a folder, look around here for modding guides... and good luck testing things

C:"Emperor dir"datamodelrules.txt

ex:

C:WestwoodEmperordatamodelrules.txt

Please test out my chocolate mod, or my shadow over arrakkis mod...

the files at just a few kilobytes at http://editing.dune2k.com will show you things you can do with just the rule file and the art file...

Just look there for modding utilites...
