Hawat learned from Gurney in a brief meeting before Thufir met with Paul that Yueh was the traitor. 

Hawat never knew about the poison the Baron poisoned him with and killed himself with a poison pin intended for the then thought “corrupt” Paul. 

And Duncan Idaho died for certain and was resurrected as Hayt. 

I thought we were talking about the books here...
