Now about the MAPS...

Hi again. Solved my very first questions ( ;D ), I have one more about the new maps avaliable for download: all except the official maps that I have downloaded show not the map picture when it is selected on game setup. Why? Can I solve this problem or is it normal?

I'm sorry I couldn't understand that. Do you mean that when you select a user made map, the picture of the map doesn't appear? Or do you mean that when you select one of the maps from the Westwood map pack, you can't see the picture for one of them? ???

Well some of the user made maps have thumbnails that just don't show up. I don't know what the reason for this is. A good example of this is the map "Temple of Arrakis"

Also, if you downloaded a user made map and unpacked it using MapPacker, you should be able to see the thumbnail in the game because you can't make .cmf files (i.e. the map files in a compressed format) unless you include the thumbnail along with all the other files. Unless you deleted the !05%thumb.tga file in the folder of the map (in the EmperorDataMaps directory) that you selected in the game, you should be able to see the thumbnail (the little picture of the map in the box in the game setup for skirmish). :P
