Here's some more information from the developers of Dune Generations on the French design team board:

"One sends his agent on mission (of espionage, sabotage or assassination) and one is warned success or failure of the mission"

" All the planets of a system are not occupied and while moving towards a system where there is a House one has access to all planets of the system. There still, all the planets are not yet inevitably occupied."

"All depend of the family structure... if there remain sons/daughters, it is has one of them which return the capacity, if not there is the possibility of making a ghola of your leader and of waiting quietly until the spouse deceases (not nice Ca...) and engage in a new (marriage with other family or proposal Bene Gesserit)...
