Here's the latest news from the Dune Generations development team:

"The Dev team has spent the last 2 months preparing the Open Beta phase. The game is currently in Closed Alpha, which means the access is restricted to the Cryonetworks staff.
The Beta test will open as soon as we are satisfied with the quality of the game. Right now, we are planning to open it by February 2002.
The brand new Dune Generations website will be online very soon with a new design, new screenshots, and unpublished artworks. Stay tuned!"

Here's hoping the DG team takes notice of Fed2k's faithful coverage of the game. :)
