No audio(except cutscenes)

Currently dune 2000 has no audio except for cutscenes, I can't figure out why this happens and I've reinstalled the game twice now. All 3 times I play through about half a campaign and when I reopen the game next time I get a chance, these is no audio. It's not the end of the world but I'd like to know the current state of my harvesters.

What kind of Operating system and computer are you using? I tried a fresh install on a Windows 11 laptop and everything worked out of the box.

Hopefully with more information we can resolve the issue.
