burzmali
How can I add a new icon for a unit? I've gone through all the files with DuneEx, but ahven't managed to track down where they're kept.
nemafakei
Icons are .tga files in the 3ddata0001.rfh/rfd file. Look for, say, AT_Trike.tga . To change them, save a 64x64 compressed 24-bit tga (ie your icon) in a (new) DATA3ddata folder, and change the Art.ini entry to account for it. nemafakei
I think it's Cameo="iconsfilename.tga", or something to that effect. Exactly the same as other units' art entries.
burzmali
OK, I've created a new Icon (just modifying existing infantry Icon), and saved it at the same bit depth etc., but once I get into the game all I get in place of the icon is a random mess of colour. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

nemafakei
Sorry, icon. Cameo is from C&C. I get confused sometimes.
burzmali
Aha! found out why it wasn't recognising my icons. I had the TGA files in the root of the 3DDATA directory, not in a "Textures" subfolder.thanks for the help.
