It is hard to believe that the voter turnout was no more than in the 2004 presidential election (About 122 Million voters) and this with all of ACORN's work registering new voters.  The mainstream media is stating we had a record turnout of over 150 million voters.  That hasn't proved true.  Where are these extra 28 million voters?  Were they lost someplace under someone  printer's ink.

The main stream media is now saying Obama was really a marketed and a promoted commodity.

If so, by whom, the media itself or by some unidentified power brokers? 

It was a marvelously run campaign.

If that is true:

Will a major change really take place or will many of Obama's supporters be disappointed?

Will the mainline media be correct when they said Obama will move to the center away from the far left.

Will a new invasion of Obama Socialism really engulf us?

Will Obama change our Constitution because he feels it is out of date by not allowing the government to spread the wealth? 

Will we learn what Obama meant when he said he would build a private security force as powerful as the US military?

Will he use this new private security army to enforce his new government relations and taxes?

Will Obama make use of the new concentration camps in the Midwest for whoever he feels deserves them?

Will Obama's really attack global warming with increased taxes on whatever?

Will Obama really allow drilling for more oil in the US, removing us from having to buy oil abroad at higher prices?

Will coal powered energy put more miners out of work because of higher coal taxes designed to bankrupt the coal industry?

Will Our private 401K retirement accounts be turning into government plans that spread the wealth?

Will Capital gain taxes on our investments really be increased.  Driving investment and business off shore?

Will the biggest sell off of stocks in history after an election continue its' downward turn?

Will socialized medicine remove our private health plans from citizen control?   

Will taxes on the very rich cause these people to stop investing in the US and move off shore?

Will Obama now pay the car and house payments for that lady on the video at one of his rallies?

It is only speculation at this point.

The mainstream media is now questioning itself on what Obama really stands for as if they didn't know this before when they supported him.  They seem to be doing damage control for their future ratings.

Having been a PCO in the past I received an e-mail asking for help to check out irregularities in the latest voting records.  It seems many unqualified voters cast illegal votes in our last election.

Washington may have to rent those internment camps that the US built in the Midwest to hold all the crooks.

I heard on the radio that Oregon has a new regulation that requires a social security number which they run a check on before a person can get an Oregon Drivers License.  License applications for Latinos dropped by 98%.

Across the border in Washington State anyone can get a Drivers license. The number of applicants have made a big jump causing long lines of people waiting to get their license.

It seems in one of Washington's local elections about 10 % of the used ballots had to be remade so they could be sent through the voting machines again.  Now what does "remade" really mean.  The ballot was folded incorrectly or not all the dots were filled in for the correct candidate?  This is presently being investigated. 

In another area, ballots were continuely being found until the winner of the election lost.

I got to thinking if there are aliens from other planets that visit us and they can read our minds, maybe we should hire them to report when politicians lie and what the poll workers are thinking about doing.  ::)

Barney Franks a democrat, has launched an investigation to find out how one of his pals was caught with a prostitute.  He wants to know if the Conservatives had fingered his pal and if they did, did the Conservatives do it legally.

He also said there was no problems with Freddy Max and it doesn't need to be investigated.  Since he was a major player in the fraud, I am sure a liberal investigation team will be used.  So, he has nothing to worry about.

Believe me, I am not trying to stick up for Obama. That's the last thing I'd want to do, but - I do believe in keeping to the facts.

The above quote from Gwizz is one of those things that has been taken out of context.

What Obama said was that he would significantly raise taxes on new coal burning facilities if they weren't using the new clean burning coal technology. Those plants are what he said would be bankrupt due to the increased taxes.

Here's the actual quote:

Let me sort of describe my overall policy.

What I've said is that we would put a cap and trade system in place that is as aggressive, if not more aggressive, than anybody else's out there.

I was the first to call for a 100% auction on the cap and trade system, which means that every unit of carbon or greenhouse gases emitted would be charged to the polluter. That will create a market in which whatever technologies are out there that are being presented, whatever power plants that are being built, that they would have to meet the rigors of that market and the ratcheted down caps that are being placed, imposed every year.

So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it's just that it will bankrupt them because they're going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted.

As you can see, he didn't state that he would bankrupt the coal industry, just the facilities that build new plants without the new technology in place.

Now, let's take that a step further: If he raises taxes on facilities that aren't using the new technology, then those facilities will have to raise their prices to compensate. If they raise their prices, then the other competitive facilities (those utilizing the new technology) will also raise their prices to keep in the flow of the market.

Where I live, the Southern Company owns the coal fired electric plants (and they do use the new technology), but because of the new taxes in the system I suspect they will raise their prices, even though they're not getting hit with the tax.

If anyone believes that higher taxes (from any President) will help the economy, ask yourself this: If you owned a company and your taxes went up, wouldn't you pass that increase onto your customers, or would you take the loss in profit and go on producing your product at a profit loss?

You could be right Gwizz. I was just going by what I've read and seen. Maybe I missed the first speech.  :-[

I agree whole-heartedly on this, and because of that mind-set I think this country is going to be in a lot of trouble over the next few years while we wait on some government bureaucracy to figure out what they'll do about it.

Tomorrow the US Supreme Court will discuss Obama birth place.

I doubt they will make any decision that will disqualify Obama from being President.
