The map is a builders map. (connect and haul)  The profit from passengers and mail hauls have been reduced.  Frieght hauls generally have been increased.  There is an over supply of demand industries to give some balance to the map Supply cargos are more dispersed, seldom in a city.  Costs of Electric track construction has been reduced.  Your  biggest problem to overcome, is time.  The map is a 10 year map.  But, There are 7 AI railroad builders who will early let you gain control of their railroads stock.   There are enough cities for about 10 or 12 railroads.  The few managers are those that give good discounts.

Status connections will only be counted if it is your track and station that connect the required territories.

Using AI track as part of the connection will not work unless you first merge the AI trackage.

Version 2 of this map is on the next post.

Now That I know you can haul invisible grain on this map, I added a dialog to explain the inter-workings of the grain workers union.  Also made a few other minor changes.  I did test with sugar but did not add sugar to the final map.

I'm posting the Seattle Industrial Map as a game with 11 months played on it.

This will save you much time on pause setting up the startup operation.

Place it in the game folder and not the map folder and unzip.

The Seattle Industrial RR has two AI RRs feeding (drop shipping) at each end of SI RRs mainline.

The Shortline RR was only used to save a manager from being taken by one of the last two AIs to start a RR.

When 7 AI railroads are running, not counting the Shortline RR, you should check on this manager before the Shortline goes into the red and can't afford to hire another manager to replace him.  The shortline does have 2 stations to give it some revenue but it may not stay in the black for long if it tries to run a train.

At the end of this year you will have a major stock split.  (Your RR and one AI RR)

You may want to sell the extra stock you gain in Jan. taking a profit to take you out of margin.

It depends upon how profitable you feel the SI RR will be during the second year.

Doing this will give you cash to buy controling stock in more AI RRs.

They can also be used to drop ship cargo to you RR.

The one bakery station near Seattle Central Station has its tracks in the middle of the Seattle RR yard,

As Seattle can become a conjested area before the game is over.
