Map Scale - North America

I was playing the North America map today, but I really enjoy the scale for Heartland.  Is there any way to create (or better has anyone done one) North America at Heartland scale?

I don't believe there is a North America map at the heartland scale.

You can create a blank map at that scale and just build it into a North America map.

Travel times would be a bit more realistic, but still move ahead too fast.

I wish there was a setting between regular time and slow time.

Both maps are 500x500, so you can't go at that scale.

The NA map is at the "correct" scale of 10 miles per tile.

I think what you like about Heartland is the wide open space, and such isn't as readily available in the NA map. At least, that's why i don't play it as much. Been thinking about new events for it to improve it. Did that with someone else's Florida map, and I loved the result, but most of my other experiments aren't nearly as successful.

Thanks, I'll take you up on that once I consider the thing finished and worthy of sharing, but God only knows when that might be.  ??? On the positive side, I consider it 90% complete.
