Dune 2000 using WIFI (multiplayer)

Hi; it's a surprise found this forum... I'm Spanish and I speak little English.

I have two PC's and I want to play one against each other using wifi (I created a LAN). It's possible?

Only if both PCs use XP or older I believe. IPX/SPX support is required, which Vista does not feature.

Both PCs use XP. I configured IPX/SPX in both; I created a game with one of them and the game appears in the other PC, but when I try enter I receive this message: "There has been a problem with the network. You may try again."

Hmm, afraid this is beyond my area of expertise, I've not played Dune 2000 multiplayer in a long time. Hopefully someone on the community will point you in the right direction. Incidentally, this may not be possible depending on your setup, but have you tried a direct ethernet cable between the two?

Well, solved. It was IPX's configuration.

I don't have a cable, because of that I use wifi.

I went to your link, but I don't understand what you did to get DUNE200 to work for you. Did you name the computers or fix the firewall? Thanks
