Map Editing help needed

Didnt know where else to put it. Sorry if it's in the wrong spot.

Anyway, I just got the Map Editor for Emperor, and I followed the tutorials, but when I do a single skirmish battle I don't see the map that I created, nor do I see Tutorial1 in the list, although I followed everything it said exactly as it's written. Do I need a patch or something? I'd really love help, because I intend to make plenty of maps for Emperor.

Hello Gold Blade,

It sounds to me that you need to move your map's file to the map file located in the westwood file. ??? For example, the Attack the Elites map file that Voodoodaddy and I created is located on my computer at C:Westwood/Emperor/Data/Maps. If you move it there, I think it should show up. I hope that helps. Can't Wait to see your map on the Emperor download page.

I'm using the map editor you download here, (Just says map editor). However, the file (Like a file folder, not a data file) Tutorial1 is in c:/westwood/emperor/data/maps. what's wrong with that? I followed the tutorial down to the comma

It sounds like you have the maps in the right place. Did you download the Emperor patch 1.06 and 1.09 and the official map packs 1-4?
