cannot read from file game1.cab....any updates of this problem

I've been reading around and I still have no come to a solution for when the set-up begins, it reads "cannot read from file game1.cab"'

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Scratched disk. Search forum for topics already covering this. There is software out there to help you confirm this (CDCheck).

You can try using some creame (I think it was posted in a thread ages ago) to remove scratches.

Or ask someone to post it to you, but state what country you are in so we can work out who can do that.
