Hi, does anyone know how i can get unit/structure data-pictures out of dune 2000 and into red alert 1? (i am using tibed editor, but i have not found a way yet. also i am not a big hero in modding except with an editor like tibed, so all the help i can get will do :) )

thanks in advance

and how do i use those in tibed? i extracted the devastator just now, but its not a single file, its like 20 bmp's, how do i forge that into a single usable file for tibed? and how do i get it in the tibed red alert editor?

Actually I wouldn't rely so much on TibEd in such a complex task, and do everything manually instead. Basically, you need to convert the extracted animation frames for each unit into a Red Alert *.shp file. Keep in mind that Red Alert uses specific palettes, so you'll have to change the palette for each frame. Also the max frame size in RA may be smaller. A very good set of tools for handling the RA file formats is shipped with the RA-Mixer utility (downloadable from this page), or you may (no, you need to) use the XCC Utilities. This easy-to-use, GUI implemented tool pack handles most graphical, audio, video and archive files that are used with all Westwood games (unfortunately, not Dune2k yet). Download the latest version of XCC Mixer here. You should also check other editing programs available at Red Alert Archive, they may prove useful (such as the Red Alchemist Pro, a handy rules.ini editor).

EDIT: Whoops! :O Almost forgot! You should definitely visit Project Perfect Mod and CnC Source for additional files, utilities, tutorials and links.
