How do i play downloaded maps ???

first download FED2k map editor

install it and run it, it ask where was dune2000 installed..then after configuration (findindg dune2000 directory)  restart MED2k and run it,

on left part of program is directories,  you should open data catalog , then maps.  then select map what you downloaded, and  click add map to dune2000 or something. then u have to type name of map , put it where is "enter name map here" , and then click button add map or something, now quit editor and run game, then open skirmish or practice mode and scroll down map to find yourr added one. then play it.

I thought their were no working map editors for windows xp for dune2k. Is their?

try use windows 98 compatability for med2k , it should work.
