Plot within plot within plot. Each time there is a need for new material, the last plot was actually someone's trick for another plot. Since it is out of no-where invention, the plot is even thicker. And since new plots need new motives, the only out-of-nihil strong enough united force are heroes or previously hidden superpowers. So more super-stuff in each book. Diversity means innovation, and it brings more of Dune.

Deep dunish politics will be central as you see. How? Well by saying it, so it?s really impressive, extreeeEEEeeemely hyperbolic !!!??!?!!!?!## ! Like this and that guy are really really REALLLLY powerful, and the other guy is doing a plot, there are lots of plots, and lots of power, biiig battles. Machiavel already wrote how it works, then people and thingies are added and said to fit in Machiavel's mould often enough to make it so.

Of course, robots and bio-robots were not exploited much into Dune up to now so it's coming in. And psi powers. All that is Dune.

Also, a new spice is pepper with placebo effect. The disappearance of spice is material which was not exploited alot in the series, and false-spice is new. More innovation, more of Dune. And it might bring in the spiritual to determine the placebo effect, with psi powers and super-duper-prophets. Did I mention more plots and super-heroes ? Marketting aficionados repeat often to make it true, but who knows.

After exploiting every possible sub-niche, new material will be scarce so there's a need for a very big NEW thing. See how in fact, everything from the beginning was controlled by aliens. They are really superintelligent. But see how the scientist guy uncovered the plot and created a new power-tool with superpowers.

Talk about the whole vision of democracy: they give power to the fans and what they want they get. The point is not what it was, because what is "best" changes from one person to another.

Now my boss calls me from Nowhere's marketting department. Have to go. But bring your ideas here and they'll please the fans: if it was unexploited and has the most potential, we'll make it fit. It does more and more of Dune, and more happy people.

It's all good: it fills a market gap thus it's good. This is spiritual ! Did I mention super-powers ? They are spiritual too.
