i think all of your ideas are good but i also have one have it to were you can build a city and build your army and you can set the abilatiys of any soldier the better he is the more he cost.

ie.

armor:1-100

speed:1-100

atack:1-100

and so on.

Well play dune2k or any game

For example a tanks is more expensive than a trike.

And the more you research which costs money the more you can build
