but it still isn't a review...

It's not just a game, it's the closest "world simulation" ever done. 5 years in development, and the guys who did this basically dreamed of doing it since decades and sold their (physical) business just to fund the game and do it as they wanted.

Basically, Supreme Ruler 2010 went gold and preordering gives two bonus scenarios. The game, based on what i saw yet (I played the beta a bit, but lost computer access just after), is the best simulation model that has ever been done of the world (but "governors" can take in charge anything). It's a near-future setting with technology and everything (economics, ressources, etc.). Anyway, read the preview if you wish while the review will come later.
