Splinter Cell 3: Chaos Theory or Star Wars: Republic Commando?

I just finished the demo of Chaos Theory, and I was quite impressed.  The graphics were outstanding (like, some of the best I've ever seen in an action game), and still got about 40-50 fps.  The gameplay was fun, too, and even though I generally don't like lots and lots of stealth, I found that you could take a more straightforward approach.  Plus, snapping people's necks is fun, too!

I also quite enjoyed the demo of Republic Commando.  I was much less impressed by the graphics, but the gameplay is certainly a more traditional feel, plenty of fighting.  The squad-based combat is well-done, too.

I'm thinking of getting one or the other, any suggestions?  Your impressions, etc.?
