Generals Install problems

When i try to install my version of generals on my PC it gets to the 100% sign before saying that the installiation wizard had been interrupted and deleted the generals folder.  Does anyone know how to get it to install???  :- :- :-

My specs:

Windows XP Home, Service pack 2

10.00 GB free space

Pentium 4 processor

Directx 8.1

if youu downloaded it from somewhere they wont work probably, if u bought it, ask someone other. i know only about dune2000 and red alert 2 games. also for dink smallwood too. lol

No I bought it at my local game shop.  I guess I have to return it and get something else  :( :( :(

I've been waiting ages to play that for a long time as well
