???

I think I found worthy information about the evolution of the US manners, so here it goes:

Reading things here and there, I went to the Electronic Frontier Foundation (www.eff.org) to read what was going on with the free-the-Internet movement. Browsing half aleatorily, I stumbled on THIS. My first reaction was not disbelief but something like "What the hell...": what's the point? I'm a bit surprised that such evident and undisguised things can be done by professional people without thinking in advance that it's about like turning around the police station at 200 km/h with your car. Pretty much nothing to gain (since pressures will certainly arise), much to lose.

At least they could make as if it was hidden. Their losses on such a move seem much greater than the gains, and I wonder what it signifies. So if we discuss this, the only interesting to get on I think is a bit "tactic": what does such a blunt move signify? What kind of analysis can we do from there? Are they so desperate, is it a way to get Kerry a few more votes :P, or is it just an incompetent that got a rank too high?

If this thing is true (seems so), anyone believes that the US is still in good democratic shape? Someone, find our empire worm sign :D

Well... a bit more information here. Apparently it was asked by some Swiss autority (which doesn't explain why they shut down the servers without saying why, then put it back when it got public). Anyway... the rest on next bat-day and next bat-lawsuit.
