Dune2000- NET - Game out of sync

2PC, Miltiplayer - NET. After 5-10mins of playing we get message: Game out of sync. Dune is patched to 1.06, both CD are in PCs. Using WinME and Win98SE, IPX 802.3. What we can do ?

out of sync is a easy problem to fix , the fact that you can play for 10 minits shows that nothing is wrong with ur pc`s or your conection , you probably find that the out of sync happens when your units start fighting ..

any way what you need to do is -: uninstall dune2000 from both pc`s and reinstall clean copies , thats it ... out of sync`s happen when you have cheats installed , like trainers , or other mods , if both copies of the game arn`t exact online , the game will go out of sync...

I have original CD Dune2000 1.01 and on both PC is patched to 1.06UK. NO crack, no cheats...

both PC iP4/2.4GHz, NET 100Mbit - intel. IPX + TCP/IP protocols. 512MB DDRAM.

swap files are permanent and on second HDD.

try updating all your drivers on both pc`s , but out of sync`s only occur if your copy of dune is different to your friends.

But for NET playing is used only one CD => cannot be differences.

All drivers are in last versions.

2 more thigs for you to try , first turn your firewalls off , second right click on the drive where dune2000 is installed click properties , then click the sharing tab , and click to share all files

But I'm playing at home on Peer-to-peer net. Win98 - WinME. Net is 100Mbit/ full duplex.

Between PC is 100Mbit switch / (hub).

Why sharing files ?
