Complete Info On The Canopus Solar System

Okay, here is a complete summary of info gleaned from the DE on the solar system of Canopus. Much of the info comes from the DE, but a substancial amount comes from my own imagination. I would like to thank the late willis mcnelly and gang for compiling such a cool book. There is also a picture I made of the solar system so you can follow along with it. I hope you guys enjoy all of this, it took a bit. There are a lot of spelling and grammer errors. I couldnt fix that because for some reason it isnt allowing spell check in Word. You guys iwll be able to understand. Again hope you guys like it. :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1: Canopus A: A class FO star. Substantially larger than our sun. It is also much hotter. Arrakis fares well biologically because it is positioned in an equally beneficial orbit as Terra.
2: Canopus B: Though the existence of white holes has been questioned by scientists of various fields, it is no doubt now that they do exist. Though it is extremely small, and almost invisible to the naked eye, it expels much matter. If carefully observed, it can be seen with its matter thrusting into Canopus A. It is a symbiotic cycle, Canopus A continues to thrive because of the continual injection of materials for fuel. It was discovered on the year 14491, many years after the death of both Paul and Leto the Second. When found, a myth grew in the cult of the divided God that it was placed there by a supreme deity to immortalize Arrakis.
3: Seban: An unremarkable planet composed of unremarkable ores. It is extremely hostile and was not studied till late in Leto the Second's rule. Because it is so close to Canopus A, it cannot sustain life, and any atmosphere it could hold is ripped away by the coronal winds of its parent star.
4: Menaris: Menaris rolls on its orbit, so because of this one side is constantly hot, and the other constantly cold. It has an atmosphere composed of carbon Dioxide. The extreme oxidizing of its atmosphere inhibits any growth of life on the planet. To date there have been no life forms found.
5: Arrakis: The paradoxel treasure of the known universe. It is a harsh and arid planet that has adapted extremely rugged life forms. Chiefly noted among the life forms is Shuihuludita Gigantica,
the giant sandworm of Arrakis. It grows from a small creature that the locals call a "sand-trout". Though it has existed on Arrakis for millions of years, it is not native to the planet. The evolutionary homeworld is yet to be discovered. The sandworms and their parent sandtrout are mysteriously vital to the production of Spice. An extremely complex molecule that has geriatric properties.
A: Krelln: The largest of the two satellites of its parent planet. Symbolized by the fist shape portion of the highlands visible to the locals of Arrakis. Though the surface of the planet may seem unremarkable, it is interesting to find that the core of the moon is still active. Volcanic and tectonic activity can still be seen every once in awhile from Arrakis.
B: Arvon: Like Krelln, it is religiously significant to the locals of Arrakis because of a definite shape it has on it's highlands. The shape appears to be that of a kangaroo-rat (called Muad-dib to the Arrakeen locals). It is much brighter than Krelln, and is much more dense. it does have some material value, as it is rich in titanium.
6: Exteris: A small planet that holds a thick atmosphere. Because Arrakis and Exteris orbit so close to one another, they seem to keep each other stable. Exteris has an extremely exotic atmosphere, containing primary gases such as xenon, krypton, and cyanogen. It quite strangely carries a thick layer of Zeon ice at it's upper atmosphere, which makes it highly reflective. It is also strange in that it carries five moons. A large amount for such a small planet.
A through D: extremely small and unremarkable satellites. Composed mostly of ice.
E: A rocky satellite that holds to an extremely elliptical orbit. So much so that many scientists believe that it was caught by Exteris eons ago as a wondering planetoid.
7: Ven: The large gas giant of the Canopus system. It is so dense and has such a high mass that it verges on becoming a star. Because of the pressure, only basic elements can be held in Ven. helium and hydrogen are it's primary components. It also carries though a strange abundance of monophospherine, a chemical that creates Ven's pink tint.
 Because it is so dense, scientists have limited capabilities in studying it. It is probably the most bizarre of the planets of Canopus though because It releases extreme radiation from very small and specific pockets around it's body. The radiation is that of infrared on the far end of the spectrum. Because it is located in such specific areas, and is of such a specific frequency, many scientists have theorized that the radiation is given off by probes or some other sort of devices planted by a highly advanced alien race eons ago, as a compass of sorts so that others could find Arrakis. This theory has not been fully accepted by the majority of scientists because as they say, "it verges on science fiction".
8: Revona: A small planet that exists far away from Canopus A. So far that canopus seems like a bright star. It is another similarly strange planet because it is comprised almost completely of helium in it's various phase states. At the surface of the planet lies a mist-sea of semi-fluid helium. Deeper inside lies a completely fluid ocean of helium, and finally at the core lies helium in it's theororized supra-metallic state.
A: Laren: A large moon comparative to the size of Revona. It is very useful as it serves as a way station for helium conversion. This helium is used for many purposes. From refueling specific kinds of spacecraft, to cooling of power plants.
Canopus is a supergiant star with shine of 200 000 Sol equivalent. About 1200 light years from us. I pray let someone invents a device, which will take me there until I live...
nope it was invented, lots of the ideas are mine, but hte basic ideas come from the DE, many ideas actually.
