Just to let anyone know who has this problem that I've received mine back now and it's working fine. I telephoned the number in the manual for support, and they advised me to return the game to them with a copy of the receipt from where I bought it. They are well aware of this problem and were waiting for a new amended batch of CD-ROMs. They did say it could take about two months for a replacement due to a back log, but in fact it only took about three weeks from when I posted it to it arriving back through my letterbox. Thanks to Hawk for helping me in the meantime.......
