  1. here is the fix: https://forum.dune2k.com/topic/28574-gruntmods-v1624-error-this-video-card-does-not-support-the-required-modes/?do=findComment&comment=398444
  2. I have fixed this by downloading the Dune 2000 from https://cncnet.org/ and throwing the Gruntmods one into the trash can 👍
  3. Hello, I have just installed the "gruntmods v1.6.2.4 Dune 2000", and first time it launched OK, but after clicking the "START" mission the game had crashed with some toY and tick = 0 error. Next time, and all the times after, when I try to launch I get the same error: This video card does not support the required modes. The game crashes immediately. I tried swapping, and changing options in any way possible, even resetting them. Can somebody please help me to solve this problem? Thank you! I am running on Windows 10 x64, intel core i7, nvidia (asus) gtx 1080ti, asus 2560x1440 monitor (I tried different resolutions already). Thank you so much!
  4. Hi guys, I have this problem where I cannot capture the game on OBS. No matter what I try, how many options I change - nothing helps. Can anyone please help me to resolve this issue? Thank you! I have Windows 10, and latest OBS. I would like to add, that this is the one and only game that doesn't get captured by OBS. I've tried many old games already, and they are all doing well. Emperor is the only one refusing to be captured. Are there some special settings, or options that I have to know about, and missing? Thank you so much!
  5. That worked. After installing with the unchecked "high resolution", and the checked "1080 resolution", game works fine! Thank you for this patch - it really makes the gameplay much more pleasant. Now it is so much easier to build units and move around. However, I'd recommend the "high resolution" instead of "1080 resolution" because at 1080 you might fail to enjoy looking at units' and structures' details. You might need a magnifying glass to do that. I should also add that the game will fail to start with the same error "video card does not support required modes" if you have any options checked in the dune2000.exe's preferences, compatibility tab. Make sure that you have everything unchecked there before you start the game in a resolution that is not 640x480.
  6. Dear Forum, I'm having the same problem. I tried the game on win95, win98, winXP, win8, and I am getting the same result all the time - the game crashes with the error message "this video card does not support required modes". My video card and monitor supports 4:3 640, 800, 1024, 1280, 16:9 1920. How do you make it work? How to force it to run in a window, or how to change the game's settings without the need to enter the game first? (I installed it with the HD patch. without the HD patch it works fine) Thank you.
