hooray....... thanks ...it was easy....a few more questions though......1) can you play without the cd?....reason.... i have the cd, my roommate doesn't and we want to play against each other....is it possible with only the one cd? 2) when I played the system kept stopping the games and said it sent them to the server....what is that all about...????

be patient but move quick......protect the east bank at all costs....the more spice the better chance you have..... i to beat it with a big army......once you survive the first few assults you should have a chance......hint....spread buildings out the best you can.

how do u get to the data entry?

I just recently joined westwood on-line......today as a matter of fact.....I get into the game screen?.....the main one I believe, to begin channels and join channels etc., etc,......My question is how do I join a channel or create one of my own.....everytime I put in a channel name it says "sorry, that room is full" and I tried some very unique names.....they can't possibly exist.....anyway, my preference is Dune 2000 and I can't wait to play online, so if anyone could help me I'd really appreciate it. Also, how can I download maps? Everytime I try to download I get an error message?.....Thanks

this is nerve racking.....I went to westwood online......tried everything to get to play dune and viewed a million web sites in the meantime......what the $%^$^&%( am I doing wrong?.......I'm very close to giving up....but my obssession to play dune online has taken precedent over rational thinking......

I do have LAN but we can't connect into each others computers......must be we're seet up wrong......when I load the cd and click on LAN it brings me to the game screen, but I am the only one there.....he did likewise and got the same result.......so I figure we'd be better off playing on the internet seeing we can both be on at the sametime.......or how do I go about playing someone else on the internet? Thanks again for the reply....I do have LAN......but not sure if it's connected properly....will try westwood online....I tried it before and it told me the page is not found......is there a better way to get to westwood online?

excuse me for sounding dumb......but.......we both share the same internet isp and are on at the same time......we both have dune 2000 installed........what would be the next step?......simply inserting the cd?....and if that doesn't work do you have another suggestion or alternative? let me ask that question a different way......we can get on the internet together.....do we have to be in a certain location when I insert the cd?

I do have ixp protocol....my os is windows 98......set up correctly? what do i check?
