I can install emperor for dune but can not get it to start, have installed the patch EMPENGINSTFIX10 but this has not helped. I have a Pentium 4 1.70 and are running xp version 2002, gforce video card 6800xt and have tried the newest drivers plus a couple of older ones. Each time having reinstalled the game I get a fatal error message unable to create 3D device, then MS visual c++ Runtime library program C:westwoodemperorgame.exe abnormal program termination. If I try another video driver it comes up with microsoft message game.exe not found. Please help if you can as I miss not playing Emperor for dune as I did have it running before I had to reinstall windows and do not have my previous configurations.
