we had PII with win98, and we play Need For Speed 2 via IPX. they trade our machines for PIV (finally!) with XP, and anything with IPX stop working... :( well, I'm more convinded in never install that crap in my home. Freddy

not in each machine. we are in a NT network here in my work, and there have a firewall. our IPX config is default, #00000000 and Automatic Detect. I already tried to put other number to all machines, and not work. any IPX game work in LAN here. but in win98 work FINE! it's a XP problem, not a Dune 2000 problem, but maybe you know how to fix that. thanks, Freddy

Hello, I'm with a similar problem here... :/ I have the IPX/SPX installed, and appears the LAN button, I create the game but the other machine can't find me, and vice-versa. We both have a XP machine, and we are in a TCP/IP LAN. any ideas to make this work? I have the same problem in all IPX games, when the network works fine to anything, other games via TCP/IP inclued. any tips to deal with that bad OS??? thanks, Freddy
