Goal: Advance mining technology has brought a new coal boom to the Susquehanna river region of Pennsylvania. Just as before, the railroads will play a key role in the mining industry.
You are in control of the North Shore Railroad.
BRONZE: Haul 200 loads of coal and have a Company Book Value of $30 Million in 45 years.
SILVER: Haul 200 loads of coal, connect Kingston to Duncannon, and have a Company Book Value of $30 Million in 40 years.
GOLD: Haul 200 loads of coal, connect Kingston, Duncannon and Lewistown, and have a Company Book Value of $30 Million in 35 years.
If you seem to be running out of time, a connection to the coal fields on the western part of the map will give you 10 more years to complete the goals.
Author's Comments: A new mining process has put Pennsylvania in the middle of another coal boom. Like before, railroads are in integral part of the industry.
