I am running Dune 2000 on an XP Home machine, I have ran it for several years with no problems, until this week,

I have even totally uninstalled it, made sure it was cleared out of the registry.

I then, disabled my antivirus program and performed a clean install,

When I play the game I can choose either easy, normal, hard, and either of the houses. No matter what combination I select, I can only play the first level and win I have completed the first stage, and try to go to the second stage, I am returned to the first stage and/or level.

what is causing this glitch?
