Problems getting online (RA and XWIS)

I've owned Emperor - Battle for Dune since its release and recently got nostalgic and went back to play it. I know that the WOL servers went down some time ago and I've used XWIS before (on Command & Conquer, C&C Red Alert and Red Alert 2), so I've been trying to use the same thing to play Emperor online but it's just not working for me.

I read the 'Getting Online Guide' pinned topic at the top of this board and followed all the instructions. I've tried both of the IP addresses given:

64.212.211.93    <-> RA's SERVER [<==Use this]

212.162.52.233  <-> XWIS SERVER [<== Backup]

but can't connect to either of them. The game just doesn't connect to either of them (for XWIS, it appears to log in but then hangs and kicks me back out). If I click 'Test' in XWIS these are the results I get:

For the RA server -

For the XWIS server -

So the only problem I can see is that XWIS tells me my serial number is invalid, which shouldn't be the case because I have a genuine copy of the game and it's not like I've posted the serial online or anything.

Can anyone help?

Hey dragin, RA's server is down at the moment so we're playing using Hamachi.

Get it here http://hamachi.en.softonic.com/

Once you've got that join ebfd2001+ network, with password of 'dune'.

THE PASSWORD IS NOT NECESSARY

The network is constantly filled from for limitations of places.

However, the manager constantly liberates places for the playing.

Be persevering!!!
