Problem with hosts file on Vista

I've installed Emperor on two friends' computers now with Vista, and everything works perfectly except I can't edit the host file to access RA's server, not with the xwisc tool or manually.  How do I get around this?

I figured it out.  Under security->permissions the "user" group was not allowed to write to the file, while in XP everyone could read/write to it.  I checked that box and xwisc worked after that.  Hopefully this helps someone else out sometime.
