EBFD keep freezing after 1 minute

my friend got EBFD and got a Pentium IV PC and if he installed the game nothing will happen but when he started a campaign or skirmish match the whole game and PC will freeze.

Can someone help me with this problem?

As my experience; you have to reinstall your graphics card driver. And the best way to have emperor to play without any problem, reinstall your operating system and test at the very start with your clean operating system, that your emperor is working properly, just before the installations of any thing (after graphics card installation, i mean)

okay, so it doesn`t have anything to do with the bios?

i dont think so, but note that i am not so good at installation problems.

No, it doesn't have anything to do with the BIOS unless he's OC'ing so much that a few extra degrees freezes the PC.

As he said, make sure he has the latest drivers. That and Norton Antivirus can do the same thing.
