Map Packer Queries

Ok I have just put the map paker onto my computer however even after reading the help file I have no idea what to do because I installed Emperor not into the token Westwood folder and it wont find or recognize any maps I put into the folders that the editor tells me to put them in? Anyone have any info on the subject?

Hi, there is a thread about this issue somewhere in the boards but i'm not sure where. So here is the short version. If you want to install maps from this site, download them to C"whatever your directoryMapPackerCMaps. then just click on the appropriate map title and hit unpack. if nothing is in the unpack list, click on the pack tab, then click on one of the titles, and then the program will "see" all the others in the cmaps dir. By the way, did you go to the Settings tab and enter the correct directories for the map editor, which would be C:where ever you put it, and the directory to put the packed map files in? the dir. to put the packed map files in would typically be- C:WestwoodEmperorMapPackerCMaps. Hope this helps.
