Today I had the same problem (this application was unable to start correctly exc..) I solved it like this: This is caused by missing DirectPlay Instructions[citation needed] Enable DirectPlay in Start->Control Panel->Programs and Features->Turn Windows Features On or Off->Legacy Components->DirectPlay Hope this can help!
