Thanks for replys, I have tried most suggestions tho... Done chkdsk and SFC/ scan reported no problems, drivers and pc protection all up to date. Tried running as admin as well without success. I will try remove dust (from GPU,CPU,PSU,etc.) and let you know. I have noticed the CPU usage goes very high when Dune runs, could this cause the crash? Any ideas why?? I think I do have a problem tho cause like I said before Internet explorer keeps crashing, I use Chrome now but when I go on control panel etc keep getting msg Internet explorer will close programme. Tried everything possible to fix but cannot find soloution. Very frustrating!!!

Hi Guys, I have installed dune 2k from gruntmod but have the following issues: 1. Sometimes when I launch game i get msg that dune 2000 has stopped working. 2. after several retry s it does launch but then freezes or just comes out after flickering screen. 3. Windows firewall ask me to allow dune 2000 i click allow but is this normal? 4. I have re stalled many times but same things keep occurring. 5. I have tried the f and g fixes but no help. I dont know if it is relevant but I keep getting problems with internet explorer hanging and cannot fix it tried many times. Any help appreciated
