AH! i reinstalled it with norton uninstalled and it works!!! thank you very much, you just got some good karma mate!

i loved EBFD when it came out, and i recently found the old CDs laying around and i decided to install it. however, a problem occurred which i remember from when i first got the game, in which the loading screen shows up (the one with the family crests and all) but after that, the screen freezes and the program does not respond. i fixed it before, when i just got it, but now i have no idea what i did back then! any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
