Game freezes INGAME (so after selecting campaign)

Hi...I've gone though every page of every forum that had anything to do with Emperor Freezing the sustem mid game on either campaign or skirmish mode...I have tried everything in these post and have to ask...Has anyone finally resolved this issue?
