why is the gameplay and the scroll rate so fast is there anyway to slow it down

it works on xp

can someone give me a detailed instruction on how to install it because maybe i am doing it wrong because it always pops up with this File not found in module RUNME2 at addess 0542:00AD Hit any key to return to system how do i fix this
