In 2400 a global war erutped. starting in africa. More than 5 billion people died in the war. nukes were thrown across africa. the weak european union used them to scorch mainland europe after london fell in 2410. the confederacy of the united southern states fell in 2424. the northern union fell three years later. the rest of the world was engulfed by the south africans lust for resources. in 2489 the last free nation. Japan. fell after being seiged for more than 6 yearsin falling it launched operation 52x. hidden missel satilites orbiting the earth bombarded the world with warheads....the polor ice caps melted in several strategicly placed missels.the survivors thought it was gods punishment for mans sins. Waterlevels rose to incredible levels. everything was engulfed in water.There was no Noha. Dante Posted June 12, 2003 Share Posted June 12, 2003 The I'd go for the Freja Caledonia again but frankly I prefered my Mountain War name so...The Caledonia Sorcere, a platform constructed from battleships, oils rigs, fishing vessels and anything else that could be found. The 'ship' is stationary, as it is anchored to the ocean floor via the old oil pipelines. As Scotland was completely submerged with the exception of some tiny islands that used to be mountains, the vessel is now located in the new vast North Sea. The platform itself is well guarded, with weapons ranging from simple pistols to cannons and torpedoes as well as giant catapults firing burning oil globs. Outside of that range though, all of the weapons are biological, as this is what they had to work with. Led by the Sorcere family, the vessel is currently stationary, but with food running desperately low, soon they shall be on the move... He needed additional supplies to continue to keep his people alive.He decided to launch a colony pod towards a nearby seamount. There he would begin construction of his new capital and leave the temporary HQ colony of New Dublin.The Federated Fleet was cruising through the waters near Scotland when they detected large amounts of oil being pumped nearby. The battlesub surfaced and armed its turret guns. Both quad-barreled turrets swung towards what looked like an atoll from Waterworld. The other two subs surfaced and armed their missile launchers. They would stay just out of range unless this new develpment attempted to attack. Then they would destroy it.Soon the battlesub captian got a message from the Federated President, Joshua Coyle."Do not engage in any combt unless first fired upon. Instead transmit the following message."To the floating platform above Old Scotland,Greetings! I am Joshua Coyle, leader of teh Federated Colonies. From the scans by my ships I see that you are in need of food. If I can come aboard and speak to you peacefully I shall give you the plans for our undersea farms AND two years worth of food.Do you agree to my terms? Thousends of years ago there were rich recource deposits in the north of Italy, and should still be there.
