Would anyone MOD for my game?

:) I hope so. It would be a lot easier if you just could do:

ADD->Unit Type

fill in the fields, select the files, could even see how the unit will look like (as you specify the width per unit on a file) and you don't even need to restart the game to check if your unit LOOKS okay.

The only thing is that I don't know how to read graphic from files with multiple pictures in it :(

You don't need to, here is an example of a unit. (ZIPPED)

All you need to do is show a part of it. You start at 0,0, and go to bmp_width, bmp_height. (which you specify in the INI section of a unit).

That part is visible. Startpixel moves the beginning X (0 standard).

Oh, i did not mention it yet but the files are not in a data file anymore. So you don't have to worry how to extract it. Thats what i mean with easy-to-mod :)[attachment archived by Gobalopper]

My editor is on good way, Stefan.

I will have a clean texteditor with colored code ready by tomorrow.

But a simple notepad program is useless, so I will add much more features before I release it, hopefully, together with your game. :)

If its able to copy/paste, show stuff in color and do the notepad basic stuff... could you send it then? I know more features are better for a release, but it would make my life a lot easier reading my own ini file :)

Sure.

I'll sort it out so it would work as a notepad(just a little bit of code left).

Colors are already added.

*EDIT*

New version uploaded.

Old fixes:

* New wordpainter which paint the file instantly(may delay if the file is big)

* Paint's some words differently from the first version.

Old Fixes:

* Special definition color.

* Lines referring to a definition that exists will appear bold.

* File will repaint only if you've typed anything since the last repaint.

* Arrow keys also repaints file.(only up and down arrow keys)

New Fixes:

* Fixed bug with some missing characters

* Added sub/class creation tool(works pretty well :))

:-[ :- wish i could try it. I still got my OCX errors. And i can't seem to find a proper OCX package. I need the file RICHTX32.OCX , i have a method to register it. I did find a version on the internet, but it does not register well (error). Maybe there is a special package? (i do have the VB runtime lib, but it does not contain that OCX file).

are you making a mod for ur orginal arrakis game or for dune? when do u expect it to be done?

:)hey can u also make a link to the old arrakis website. no one can download arrakis anymore because the site is down. thanks
