jacobdouds
Am I the only person here that knows about XP?Anyway.Do you have the newest drivers installed. XP requires more recent drivers then 9x.But that sounds like a CD problem. Check for any scratches or smudges. Either side. If that fails, turn of auto-run. And open the game normally. If none of these work, reply. I will go from there.
Elturel
I have tried all of that. When i put the cd in it locks up. The cd just spins, But no install . Then after about 20 seconds all my desk top icons vanish. I still can move my mouse pointer. But control-alt- del does not do a thing. i have to turn off the computer. Thanks for helping me this has me puzzled
jacobdouds
This used to happen to me on 98. Start up your computer, but before windows loads, insert the CD. That will stop auto-run. Then, open it.

jacobdouds
Open my computer. Then right-click on the CD and choose explore.
Nyarlathotep
Does it happen with more cd's or just this one ?Also, if it happens on another pc as well, you might want to try another just to be sure, but it sounds like the cd is the culprint.
